The Post needs your help cutting the cost of publishing this newsletter. Members with email access are requested to give it some thought to receiving this newsletter via email. All you will need Adobe Acrobat loaded on your PC. For anyone who does not currently have Adobe Reader installed on their computer, go to www.adobe.com you will see an icon that says "Get Adobe Reader". Click on that and follow the instructions to download it for free.
By receiving your newsletter via email, you will save the Post over $5.00 annually. I know this doesn’t sound like a large cost savings per member, but every little bit helps. At the present time, we are spending close to $300.00 for each issue.
To receive the newsletter via email, send me your email address to American Legion “with the subject American Legion". In the body of the note, please type your full name and say you want to receive the newsletter via email. This is important, because most of you have your email name as something other than your name. I have to know who you are, so we can take your name off the U. S. Postal Mailing list.
Your email address will not be shared with others without your permission, nor will you receive any email from the editor with jokes, chain letters, virus warnings, etc. Also, the only difference between the hard copy you receive by mail, is that the emailed version is in full living color..
Articles for the Newsletter must be received by the 10th of the month. The Editor has the right to accept or reject any article submitted.
