Auxiliary President’s Report July, 2010

Hi Ladies,

Hope all of you are enjoying your summer. I would like to encourage all members to come out to our monthly meetings. However we will not be meeting during the months of July, September and January. Our meetings are always the first Mondays of the month at 7 pm and usually only last a half hour. We get the business out of the way so we can socialize afterwords. So if you haven’t been to meetings lately come by for a visit I’m sure that you will enjoy a nice evening with friends.

Unit dues for the 2011 year are now due and you can send them to Nancy Knox, as she is the membership chairman for this year, also dues can be paid on line at the national website.

This year I hope to continue working as a legion family, we have many advents coming up and they can only be successful by members coming out and supporting the post. As for me I do live north of Port Huron, so not living in the Utica area dose limit the amount of time that I can be at the post, but if there is a question or a problem you can always call me or email me at smsvacha@hotmail.com. I am here for each member and will try to the best of my ability to serve each and every one of you this year.

I am celebrating 40 years of active membership this year; I have been Unit President 4 times and District President 20 years ago, I also currently serving on the District and Department levels. I am also a full time college student in the medical field.
